Job summary

Parkland County is seeking a Communications Advisor to plan, develop and implement service-focused communications and manage digital channels including the county website, intranet and social media.

The ideal candidate has a post-secondary diploma in communications, at least two years in corporate communications, and proficiency with CMS, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. The role offers in-person work with one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in corporate communications.
• Experience managing a content management system.
• Excellent interpersonal, public speaking and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of privacy and municipal legislation is an asset.
