Job summary

CBI Health is seeking an experienced Psychotherapist / Social Worker in London, ON to deliver high-quality psychotherapy within an interdisciplinary clinic network. You will conduct assessments and provide treatment for grief, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and related conditions, coordinating with a team to support return to work and daily functioning.

The role offers a wage range of $40.00–$45.00 per hour, with a future move to a 38–43% fee-split after probation, along with comprehensive

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Psychotherapist
• Registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
• A Master’s degree in counselling, social work or a psychology-related discipline
• Experience in the assessment and treatment of a wide-range of mental health symptoms
• Clinical knowledge in the area of trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety and addictions
• Experience working with traumatic brain injuries/concussions, and clients making the transition back to work
• High familiarity in delivering a variety of different clinical modalities within both short- and long-term intervention plans
• Ability to collaborate and communicate within an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapeutic assessment and treatment to individuals and family members presenting with a wide range of mental health symptoms and disorders
• Be responsible for working effectively and collaboratively with a team of clinicians to provide concurrent treatment that supports clients getting back to their normal living activities and daily functioning (including return to work)
• Support clients with disabilities and/or injuries sustained from work or auto‑related accidents
• Provide detailed written reports and verbal updates of treatment progress to health funders including insurance adjusters, rehabilitation consultants, and disability managers
• Form and establish a therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
• Utilize effective and clear communication skills
• Provide sound clinical acumen and ethical judgment
• Make appropriate and effective use of self in clinical treatment

Education

Master’s degree in counselling, social work or a psychology-related discipline
