Role Description

Currently looking for a psychotherapist to work with children between the age group of 5 years to 15yrs, in the domain of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and stress. This is a casual contract remote role for a Registered Psychotherapist. The Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing psychotherapy to children and their families. In addition, undertake administrative tasks like, but not limited to; ensure complete documentation of all session notes, developing treatment plans, writing letter of support (when needed) and completing forms (when needed) , and maintaining client records. The role requires strong listening and communication skills, the ability to establish therapeutic relationships, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skills in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health
• Hands on experience of modalities of talk therapy, art therapy, and play therapy.
• Active registerstion with CRPO (college of registered psychotherapist of Ontario)
• Holds liability insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
