Job summary

SE Health is offering a sponsored Personal Support Worker training program in Ontario, Canada. The 6‑month program starts with five weeks of paid PSW training at 19.05 CAD/hour, followed by part-time community work while continuing PSW education, plus several weeks of virtual learning and in-person labs.

A future pathway includes placements and broad opportunities within SE Health. Eligible applicants should be caring, calm under pressure, and a strong communicator, with a valid G or G2 license,

Qualifications

• Travel to support patient needs.
• Valid G or G2 driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certificates due on Day 1.
• Immunizations up-to-date (MMR, Varicella/Zosters, HepB, Tetanus) and a negative TB test (last 6 months).
• Clear police check and Vulnerable Sector Check (upon job offer).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care activities, household management, and general support.
• Support patients in community settings after initial training.
• Attend training sessions and complete in-person skills labs and virtual learning as part of the program.
• Demonstrate safety-focused care and adapt to changing environments.
