Job summary

SE Health invites you to start a new career through a sponsored Personal Support Worker training program in Canada. Five weeks of paid PSW training at 19.05 CAD per hour, Monday to Friday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with progression to part-time community work while you continue your PSW education.

The program includes virtual learning, in-person labs, and required placements, covering personal care, household management, and general support.

Qualifications

• Must be caring and compassionate.
• Calm under pressure and good communicator.
• Ability to travel and attend meetings to support patient needs.
• Valid G or G2 driver's license with own vehicle.
• First Aid and level C CPR certificate within 3 weeks of start date.
• Immunizations up to date (MMR, Varicella/Zosters, HepB, Tetanus) and recent TB test.
• Clear police and vulnerable sector checks (Upon Job Offer)

Responsibilities

• Complete five weeks of paid PSW training at SE Health.
• Participate in part-time community work while continuing PSW education.
• Engage in four months of virtual learning, three weeks in-person skills lab, and required placements.
• Training covers personal care, household management, and general support.
