Job summary

SE Health offers a sponsored Personal Support Worker Training Program in Canada. Participants complete five weeks of paid training at 19.05/hour, then work part-time in the community while continuing education. The program includes virtual learning, in-person labs and required placements to build essential PSW skills.

Applicants should be caring, calm under pressure and possess strong communication and organizational abilities. A valid driver’s license and immunization requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel to support the needs of the patient.
• Having a valid G or G2 driver’s license and owning a reliable vehicle is mandatory.
• Standard First Aid and level C CPR certificate due on Day 1.
• Proof of required immunizations and a recent TB test.
• Clear police check and vulnerable sector check upon job offer.

Responsibilities

• Complete PSW training program including paid week‑long sessions and in‑person labs.
• Support personal care activities and household management for clients.
• Coordinate with SE Health teams and complete required placements.
