Job summary

Home Care Assistance of Barrie, Ontario is seeking a dedicated PSW to provide in‑home care in the Port Severn area. The role involves personal care, light housekeeping and following detailed care plans, with day shifts and every other weekend coverage.

Applicants should have 2+ years of experience, a valid PSW certification, CPR/First Aid, and a clean Vulnerable Sector Check. A driver’s license and own vehicle are mandatory; flexible scheduling and competitive pay are offered.

We have 2 PSW vacancies for Community Client in Port Severn area to provide care. Shifts are day time and every other weekend. Need to have 2 plus years experience. Need to be ok with deep house cleaning 90% of your shift.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide personal care
• Drivers license and reliable car are mandatory for this position.
• Providing deep house cleaning
• Able to follow detailed list of daily chores and tasks
• Provide behaviorsupport and crisis intervention
• Maintaining open communication with client and their family
• Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates
• Responding to all emergency situations
• All other duties, as assigned

Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
