Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Oakville, ON is seeking nursing students who completed their first year to gain hands-on experience in home care. The Caregiver will provide personalized support to seniors through companionship, personal care, and daily assistance in clients' homes.

Responsibilities include ADLs support, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and following individualized care plans. Applicants must have a valid RCMP-VSS, TB test, two references; strong communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a nursing program or have completed the first year of nursing education.
• Passion for working with seniors and providing compassionate care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following care guidelines.
• Experience with dementia care or responsive behaviors is considered an asset.
