Job summary

AgeCare Woodhaven in Markham is seeking a PSW Coordinator to partner with the Director of Care to organize and oversee resident personal care services. The role ensures high-quality support across shifts and maintains care standards in accordance with AgeCare's mission.

You will mentor PSWs, participate in hiring and onboarding, and supervise audits of care practices, equipment, and hygiene. This temporary full-time position ends Feb 2027 with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Must have worked as a PSW in Long Term Care.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques for simple treatments and bedside care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Care to plan and coordinate PSW services.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of PSWs.
• Lead audits and supervision across shifts to ensure quality resident care.
• Monitor supplies, equipment, IPAC materials, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Support onboarding with documentation and care plan updates.
