Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Protective Services Guard at our Winnipeg locations to help protect customers, team members and assets. The role requires vigilance, strong communication, and the ability to act decisively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include identifying theft and security issues, performing audits, and reporting with clear documentation while maintaining a professional demeanor with the public and staff. Travel between store locations may be required.

Qualifications

• A valid MB Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
• Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between store locations.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.

• Performing arrests, asset recoveries, and product recoveries.

• Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.
