Save-On-Foods is hiring a Protective Services Guard for locations in Vancouver and North Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on protecting customers, staff, and assets while maintaining a professional presence and quick decision-making in incidents.

You’ll be part of a team that conducts security audits, handles incidents, and ensures compliance with policies. Training, licensing support, and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement is required.
• Strong decision-making skills for quick choices in tough situations.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates integrity, reliability and willingness to go the extra mile.
• AST training and second language ability are assets.

Responsibilities

• Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
• Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.

Qualifications

• A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
• Solid decision‑making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
• Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).

Compensation

IND7 Compensation Details: $20.00 - $26.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
