Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Protective Services Guard to help protect our team, customers and store operations across the Lower Mainland, BC.

The role requires commuting to multiple locations in Surrey, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. You will identify theft, maintain a safe environment, greet customers, conduct security audits and assist with incident reporting.

Competitive pay of $20.00–$26.00 per hour, weekly pay, paid training, PPE provided, and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• AST certification is an asset.
• Fluency in a second language is an asset.
• Open availability is an asset.

Compensation

IND7 Compensation Details: $20.00 - $26.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
