Job summary

PS Technologies Inc. (PSTI) is seeking a Protection Engineer to deliver power system protection services including model development, short-circuit analysis, relay settings, and area coordination studies. The candidate will support the protection team led by the Protection Supervisor and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements include a BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, P.Eng license, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in ASPEN Oneliner, APA/CAPE, or ETAP is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering
• P.Eng license required; US PE may be required
• Experience in protection coordination and high voltage systems

Responsibilities

• Develop protection system models and perform short-circuit analyses
• Develop relay settings and area coordination studies
• Review drawings and relay settings; ensure standards compliance
• Support project delivery and mentor less experienced engineers
