Are you a strong technical writer who creates outstanding project proposals, RFQ/RFP packages, and more?

Smart, Savvy + Associates is pleased to partner with their client – an award-winning design firm specializing in building beautiful structures – in their search for a Proposal Coordinator. The right person for the role has experience in technical writing, business development, or sales within the architecture industry.

As the Proposal Coordinator, you will...

  • Create and organize new project proposals, qualifications packages (RFQ/RFP), presentations and write-ups for engineering and construction services.
  • Assist various internal teams in developing materials for proposals and managing CRM needs.
  • Manage bidding and lead generation software including researching new opportunities and summarizing progress with measurable outcomes.
  • Run market research projects, track industry data, and explore new opportunities.  
  • Coordinate and track materials related to proposals, along with other administrative tasks as needed.

You have...

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field.
  • Experience in technical writing, business development, or sales within the architecture industry.
  • An ability to adapt and think through strategies based on project requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign, and AI tools.
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships within and outside of an organization.
  • The desire to take ownership of tasks, meet goals, and exceed expectations.
  • Experience in digital, email, and social media marketing is preferred.

Additional details

️ $60,000 - $85,000, plus extended benefits and 3 weeks of paid vacation.

Hybrid, (Must be able to work three days a week from the Fraser Valley, BC office.)
