Job summary

CC&L Financial Group is seeking a Proposal Analyst to join our Proposal and Consultant Database Team in Vancouver. The role combines RFP preparation with data management and process improvement, in a hybrid work environment.

You will work closely with subject matter experts across business areas to craft compelling responses, maintain the RFP database, and support reporting and database updates for external investment and consultant data.

Qualifications

• Finance degree or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in an institutional investment firm or similar.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a team and resolve complex issues.
• Experience improving processes and implementing solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs for CC&L affiliates with SMEs.
• Draft new responses and suggest enhancements to RFPs.
• Maintain and administer the RFP response database for consistency across materials.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of reports/files to support the RFP process.
• Assist with updating external investment and consultant databases as required.

Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in office and remote working days throughout the week.

What You Will Do

• Preparing and completing RFPs, RFIs, DDQs for all CC&L Financial Group affiliates; this involves working closely with subject matter experts from all business areas.
• Drafting new responses and recommending value added enhancements to the existing RFP responses.
• Maintaining and administering an RFP response database and ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of various reports and files required to support the RFP process.
• Assist with updating and maintaining various external investment and consultant databases, if required.

What You Bring

• You have a Finance Degree or equivalent and a genuine interest for the investment industry.
• 2 – 4 years of experience in an institutional investment firm, bank or trust company will be beneficial to your success. Completion of relevant industry courses would also be an asset.
• You can articulate yourself clearly verbally and written and work well with others to resolve complex issues.
• You are committed to contributing and supporting a team of like-minded individuals who are driven and have high standards.
• You are a sharp, ambitious, and enthusiastic person who will seek to improve existing processes and help to implement creative solutions.
• You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation for this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
