Job summary

Armco Capital Inc. is seeking a reliable General Maintenance Worker to support daily upkeep across interior and exterior spaces. You will assist with apartment turnovers, minor repairs, and general labour tasks to keep a clean and safe environment for residents.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to work independently, and proper use of basic hand and power tools. On-site work with potential seasonal duties and safety adherence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, construction, renovations, or general labour is considered an asset.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
• Valid driver's license is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of interior and exterior common areas.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage garbage and recycling.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal and landscaping.
• Move and install equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Respond to basic resident service requests.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
