Armco Capital Inc. in Canada seeks a reliable General Maintenance Worker to assist with day-to-day upkeep of our properties, apartment turnover preparation, and a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

The role involves repairing and maintaining common areas, performing basic upkeep, coordinating with residents, and following health and safety procedures. Full-time position with on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, construction, renovations, or general labour is asset.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
• Valid driver's license is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of interior and exterior common areas.
• Complete basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage garbage and recycling
• Assist with apartment turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal and landscaping.
• Move and install equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Respond to basic resident service requests.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
