Crawford & Company is seeking a bilingual Property Desk Adjuster to join our team in the Gaspésie region of Québec. In this role you will primarily support our Property Desk team while handling occasional field claims in remote communities, providing a diverse claims experience.

You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and resolve property claims by phone and written communication, with authority delegated to you, collaborating with clients, field adjusters and legal partners to ensure fair,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years functional experience in an insurance or risk management environment, preferably with property claims.
• Commercial and Personal AMF license.
• Bilingual, French and English.
• Post-secondary education in an insurance related field is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical ability.
• Able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information.
• Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum.
• Negotiates, settles, finalizes claims.
• Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files.
• Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records.

As a trusted claims professional, you\'ll play a key role in helping customers through challenging situations by investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving property claims through telephone and written communication. You\'ll be empowered to make decisions within your delegated authority while collaborating closely with clients, field adjusters, and legal partners to ensure fair, efficient, and customer-focused claim resolution.

This role requires frequent interactions in English and requires reading and preparing documents in English on a frequent basis.

Nous agrandissons notre équipe et nous sommes à la recherche d’un Expert en sinistres immobiliers bilingue pour nous joindre dans la magnifique région de la Gaspésie au Québec. Dans ce rôle unique, vous soutiendrez principalement notre équipe de gestion des sinistres immobiliers tout en ayant l’occasion d’aider occasionnellement avec des dossiers sur le terrain dans des communautés éloignées, offrant ainsi une expérience de sinistres variée et enrichissante.
En tant que professionnel de confiance en sinistres, vous jouerez un rôle clé pour aider les clients dans des situations difficiles en enquêtant, évaluant, négociant et réglant les demandes de sinistres immobiliers par téléphone et par écrit. Vous aurez le pouvoir de prendre des décisions dans le cadre de votre autorité déléguée tout en collaborant étroitement avec les clients, les experts sur le terrain et les partenaires juridiques pour assurer un règlement des sinistres juste, efficace et axé sur le client.
