Job summary

CAA Club Group of Companies (CCG) is seeking a qualified Associate in property claims to investigate, evaluate and settle claims with a focus on accuracy and client service. The role emphasizes policy interpretation, timely communication and coordination with contractors, vendors and claimants.

The candidate should have post-secondary education, 2–5 years of property claims experience and 2–3 years in customer service, with CIP designation or progress toward it.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including relevant post-secondary education.
  • 2-5 years prior property claims handling experience plus 2-3 years customer service experience.
  • CIP designation or working towards CIP designation.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and career-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, analyze, negotiate and settle property claims (low to moderate severity).
  • Interpret policy conditions, legislation and confirm coverage for policy holders.
  • Conduct investigations including phone statements and coordinating with service providers.
  • Evaluate liability, salvage and subrogation exposure and potential.
  • Coordinate all parties in all stages of the claims process.
  • Review losses to ensure file meets criteria and respond to client concerns.
