Job summary

CAA Club Group in Thornhill (Ontario) is seeking a Claims Adjuster – Property. You will conduct full investigations, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements and coordinate with appraisers, body shops and third parties to resolve claims efficiently.

The role requires 1–5 years claims handling and 2–3 years customer service, plus excellent communication and organizational skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and AI tools may be used in recruitment.

Qualifications

What You Will Do

• Full investigation, evaluation, analysis, negotiation and settlement of property damage claims
• Conduct claim investigations, including coordinating, consulting, negotiating and collaborating with appraisers, body shops, third party claimants, adjusters and vendors
• Evaluate liability, salvage and subrogation exposure and potential
• Review and analyze losses to ensure files meet the guideline criteria and determine proper kind of loss
• Maintain adequate reserves based on exposure and authority level

Who you are

• Post-secondary education completion
• 1-5 years prior claims handling experience coupled with 2-3 years customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Excellent organizational skills
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
• Previous claims experience in property and/or auto inclusive of technical and coverage issues, management/resolution would be considered an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
