Job summary

Tammy Insurance Agency in Durham Region, Oshawa seeks a motivated insurance agent to build relationships and meet client needs for home and auto policies. You will educate clients, present options, and contribute to sales goals.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, 2 years of relevant experience, and a willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty license. Prior sales experience and market awareness are a plus.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field is required or preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience in the insurance or sales sector.
• Property and Casualty license preferred or able to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Demonstrated sales experience and ability to hit quotas.
• Ability to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Basic math skills for policy pricing and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Establishes personalized telephone contact with clients to build trust and promote home/auto insurance.
• Educates and advises clients on products while following underwriting policies.
• Collaborates with the agent to meet marketing goals and expand the client base.

Job Requirements:
