Job summary
Avenir Energy Ltd. is hiring a Propane Service Technician II to install and maintain propane appliances and storage equipment in a fast-paced field environment. You will deliver top-tier customer service and work hands-on with various brands while advancing your professional certifications.
Minimum G2 certification is required, with a willingness to acquire LP endorsement within 18 months. The role offers on-site field work and opportunities to grow with a leading Canadian propane distributor.
Qualifications
- Minimum G2 certification required; LP endorsement within 18 months.
- DZ license considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years’ service technician experience.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain propane appliances and storage equipment.
- Provide field service for various heating equipment brands.
- Occasional on‑call shifts for timely service.
- Plan service calls and meet customer satisfaction targets.
- Upsell company services during service calls to drive revenue.
- Complete paperwork daily, weekly, monthly per policy.
- Follow PPE and safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct site hazard assessments as required.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly vehicle inspections.
