Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Propane Service Technician II to install, service and maintain propane appliances and storage equipment for residential and commercial customers across Ontario.

You will ensure safe, efficient operation of propane systems while delivering exceptional customer service in the field. Ideal candidates have a G2 certification, willingness to obtain LP endorsement within 18 months, at least 2 years of service technician experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• G2 certification is required.
• LP endorsement within 18 months is required.
• At least 2 years of service technician experience is required.
• Additional trade certifications (e.g., air conditioning, sheet metal) are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain propane appliances and storage equipment
• Diagnose and repair heating and propane systems from multiple manufacturers
• Respond to scheduled service calls and participate in on-call rotations
• Plan and complete service work efficiently and safely
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs or maintenance performed
• Identify opportunities to promote Avenir Energy products and services
• Complete required service documentation and reports
• Follow all company safety procedures and conduct site hazard assessments
• Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability
