From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Your Future Role

As a Project Planner, you play a pivotal role in managing schedules and project performance. Your expertise in planning, analysis, and steering complex schedules enables you to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with technical, contractual, and organizational requirements.

You develop, consolidate, and maintain reliable reference schedules, identify critical paths, and analyse the impacts of risks and changes. Your ability to structure information, challenge assumptions, and anticipate deviations allows you to propose concrete action plans to optimize timelines and facilitate decision-making.

In daily interaction with project teams, including engineering, project management, procurement, partners, and suppliers, you ensure coordination and communication, guaranteeing stakeholder alignment and the quality of scheduling data.

You contribute to monitoring project progress through key performance indicators (KPIs), earned value, and performance analyses, while supporting contractual challenges related to deadlines.

This position, based at our St-Bruno site on the South Shore of Montreal is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week). It requires the ability to work in an international, multi-site, and matrix organization. The working environment is hybrid, with three days on site and two days remote per week.

Your Responsibilities

Interfacing project teams, subsystem managers, and external stakeholders, your main tasks are as follows:

  • Develop, structure, and maintain project schedules in accordance with the schedule management plan and internal standards.
  • Ensure the regular updating of schedules based on progress data from the field and contributions from project participants.
  • Collect, consolidate, and validate progress data (physical and calendar).
  • Contribute to the analysis of schedule deviations (delays, drifts, critical impacts) and the identification of associated risks.
  • Prepare and produce planning reports and performance indicators in accordance with project requirements.
  • Actively participate in periodic schedule reviews and project steering committees.
  • Ensure the monitoring of deviations and proactively alert core project teams.

Your Profile

  • Higher education (engineer or equivalent university degree).
  • Experience in project planning, ideally in an industrial environment (engineering, construction, transport, energy, etc.).
  • Proficiency in planning tools (such as Primavera P6, MS Project or equivalent).
  • Good command of office software, especially Excel (data analysis).
  • Knowledge of project management principles and planning methods.
  • Analytical skills and strong sensitivity to deadline issues.
  • Ability to work in multi-actor and multicultural environments.
  • Direct contribution to fulfilling contractual commitments regarding deadlines.
  • Cross-functional position, at the heart of interactions between technical disciplines and project management.
  • Participation in projects with high technical and organizational complexity.
