STV Job Opening: Project Officer in Construction Management - New York

STV currently has an opening for a Project Officer in the Construction Management group in New York.

The Project Officer reports to a Senior Project Officer and performs a broad range of supportive and technical tasks related to school construction within the Construction Management Department.

II. Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Review documents submitted for City-required building and other permits for completeness and accuracy.
2. Support permit applicants in completing filing procedures with various City agencies.
3. Deliver documents to city agencies for data entry, review, and approval.
4. Work closely with Plan Examiners to review documents for compliance with City Building Code.
5. Research existing building status from City records across agencies.
6. Perform related tasks as needed.

III. Minimum Requirements:

1. Possess a four-year college degree from an accredited institution related to construction management, architecture, or engineering, OR
2. Have a minimum of 6 years of industry experience.
3. Possess a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
4. Have a working knowledge of computer software (e.g., Excel, Word).

Compensation Range:

$114,544.55 - $152,726.06
