Consulting Director, Project Manager / Regulatory and Permitting (Director Level)

ERM is seeking a Consulting Director, Project Manager / Regulatory and Permitting to advance their career with a global environmental leader and make a significant impact by implementing ERM's global strategy. Applicants may be based remotely but should be willing to travel occasionally to ERM’s offices or client sites as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management and senior leadership on major, multimillion-dollar projects.
  • Lead a growing team of technical specialists delivering environmental and sustainability work across Canada.
  • Support business growth in relevant sectors.
  • Manage impact assessment and permitting projects within Canada and globally.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental sciences, engineering, management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years (15 preferred) in environmental consulting or relevant industry experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with environmental regulatory requirements, especially in sectors like mining, renewable energy, transportation, oil and gas.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
Additional Details:

This is a full-time role with some overtime during peak periods. The annual base salary ranges from $147,393 to $164,676 CAD, depending on experience and other factors. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, retirement plans, and more.
