Job summary

RGCV is seeking a Project Manager for Ventilation and Refrigeration to lead HVAC projects in Quebec. You will analyze bids, coordinate with contractors, and drive fabrication drawings using CAD/BIM tools across site visits and client meetings.

Requirements include a DEC in building mechanics (or equivalent) with 5+ years, proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, and an ASP safety card. Strong communication, leadership, and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• DEC in building mechanics or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT software.
• Driver's licence.
• ASP health and safety card (training provided by RGCV).
• Honesty, good stress management, a collaborative mindset, a proactive attitude and excellent communication are the skills sought for this position.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing plans and specifications during the bidding process.
• Preparing bids and submitting them through the BSDQ or to private clients.
• Attending site visits and being able to determine the required operations.
• Meeting with potential clients to offer our ventilation and refrigeration services, being able to scope the work and submit a proposal to the client.
• Coordinating the project with general contractors and other subcontractors before work begins.
• Managing the production of fabrication drawings and coordination (CAD, REVIT and BIM).
• Managing and producing shop drawings.
• Negotiating purchase prices with the various suppliers for each project.
