my great recruitment is seeking a rockstar Heavy Duty Technician to join an elite municipal equipment service team in Metro Vancouver. You will diagnose complex electrical issues, rebuild power systems, and keep street sweepers, vacuum trucks, and hydro-excavators running smoothly.

You’ll perform in-shop and field repairs, source parts, follow manuals, and stay current with system updates. The role requires a licensed tech with 10+ years of experience, strong English, and a commitment to safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in heavy-duty equipment repairs.
• Expert-level electrical troubleshooting, including multiplex systems.
• Deep knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Certifications like CVIP and forklift are a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract.
• Physically able to lift 75 lbs and work full days on your feet.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication in English.

You’ll be servicing street sweepers, vacuum trucks, hydro-excavators, and other essential municipal machinery. The work is hands-on, performance-focused, and mission-critical to the smooth operation of public infrastructure.
