Job description

The Sales Operations Project Manager plays a pivotal role in integrating retail sales support with operations management and project management. This position requires strong communication skills in both English and basic French, and a high level of attention to detail. The role is crucial for managing and delivering projects as assigned, leading operational communications, and providing ongoing support to ensure seamless collaboration with international teams. This individual will also support executive or team events and manage international calendars. By overseeing project deliverables, facilitating communication, and maintaining operational efficiency, this specialist contributes significantly to the organization's strategic objectives and operational success.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

  1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  2. Manage and communicate project requirements, forecast resource needs, and align with stakeholders.
  3. Implement and manage project changes to ensure successful delivery.
  4. Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, maintaining high quality standards.
  5. Support international teams with ad hoc or ongoing projects.
  6. Maintain strong partnerships with global teams to ensure satisfaction and support operations leadership and sales as needed.
  7. Provide clear project status updates and facilitate regular meetings.
  8. Resolve problems promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
  9. Proactively address risks and challenges through engagement with leadership teams.

Operational Reporting and Documentation

  1. Develop and maintain detailed operational reports and documentation to support decision-making.
  2. Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP for operational tasks.
  3. Manage procurement, sourcing, and supply control processes.
  4. Maintain procurement processes, control, and support for sales and operational purchase orders.

Executive Admin and International Calendar Coordination

  1. Serve as the primary liaison for internal and client-facing events and meetings.
  2. Plan, document, and execute events to align with organizational goals.
  3. Support international teams in managing event logistics.
  4. Manage senior executive calendars and related projects to ensure alignment with priorities.
  5. Coordinate travel arrangements, oversee expense reports, and track task statuses.

Communication and Translation Support

  1. Oversee the weekly communication guides and support the delivery of weekly operations updates.
  2. Translate documents between English and French as needed.
  3. Provide language support for internal and external communications to ensure clarity across linguistic barriers.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

2-4 years of experience in sales or operations roles within retail.
