Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management and project governance frameworks across all project areas.
  • Monitor and assess project risks, compliance requirements, and governance processes to identify vulnerabilities and drive improvements.
  • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of a structured risk management database, ensuring key risks, mitigation strategies, and governance insights are effectively documented and applied.
  • Develop documentation protocols for tracking risks, compliance measures, and governance effectiveness, integrating findings into project phases.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to implement governance best practices, strengthen risk controls, and improve decision-making.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial, operational, and legal risks, ensuring proactive strategies are in place.
  • Oversee the implementation of project governance policies, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Monitor risk exposure, governance compliance, and project performance, enforcing corrective actions aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead risk assessments and scenario planning, developing contingency strategies.
  • Evaluate governance effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
  • Develop standardized templates, tools, and frameworks for risk management and governance.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on risks, governance challenges, and compliance status.
  • Update PM Manager, Project Lead, and executive team on governance milestones and risks.
  • Promote a culture of proactive risk management and strong governance through collaboration and transparency.
  • Coordinate stakeholder efforts to achieve common goals and report misalignments.
  • Perform additional leadership duties to support the success and growth of the team.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of experience managing projects in complex environments with a focus on risk, governance, and compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of risk management principles, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to project risk and governance, especially in construction or related industries.
  • Proven ability to assess and mitigate financial, operational, and legal risks.
  • Expertise in developing policies, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in risk management and project management software, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Professionalism, responsiveness, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, especially under pressure.
  • Adaptability in intercultural settings with strong empathy.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel (~10%) domestically and internationally, and to accommodate time zone differences.
  • Experience in automotive, e-mobility, or construction industries is an asset; German language skills are a plus.

Power Perks

  • Competitive remuneration based on skills and experience.
