Reports To : Director of Customer Success

Supervisor : Chief Operations Officer

Type : Full-time

Performance Bonus : $5000 (Based on Performance Review)

Company Bonus : $5000 (Based on Company Milestones)

Overview :

As the Manager of Reporting Operations at ChainPatrol, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational execution of our threat detection, analysis, and mitigation efforts. Building on your experience managing the reporting team, you will lead a team of reporters, reviewers and takedown specialists to identify emerging threats, develop advanced operational capabilities, and coordinate rapid response to security incidents. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety and security of our clients by staying ahead of the evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership :

  • Lead and mentor the threat intelligence and response team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate threat intelligence into overall business strategy.

2. Threat Detection and Analysis :

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of advanced threat detection systems.
  • Ensure the continuous monitoring of emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to our clients.
  • Direct the analysis of threat data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable intelligence.
  • Coordinate rapid response to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain incident response protocols and playbooks.
  • Lead post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future response efforts.

3. Partnership and Collaboration :

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, law enforcement, and intelligence communities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall security posture of our clients.

4. Reporting and Communication :

  • Provide regular reports to executive leadership on threat landscape, incident response metrics, and team performance.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of threat intelligence findings to clients and stakeholders.

5. Team Development :

  • Identify training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Qualifications :

Optional Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field;

Intermediate Experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity, or related field.

Willing to manage and lead security teams.

Strong understanding of threat intelligence methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in AI based research tools; ChatGPT, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Entrepreneurial spirit, resourcefulness to learn new skills independently, not afraid to take risks and learn from mistakes.

Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Prior experience in business-related roles is a plus, but not required.

Additional Responsibilities :

Assisting the COO with ChainPatrol’s Reporting Operations and Execution both online and offline.

Developing and implementing new reporting operation improvements monthly.

Supporting the growth of new customers in pipeline by leading hot lead reporting assignments to team members.

Developing training materials and guides for ChainPatrol reporting staff and help desk teams.

Engaging with social platforms to understand volume and nature of threats being detected and emerging.

Organizing metrics for customer success stories and client specific case studies.

Collaborating with other team members to coordinate reporting operations and customer success.
