PROJECT MANAGER, READINESS

Location – Mississauga, ON

Your role within the team:

Reporting to the Director of Readiness waste management and RP, the Project Manager, Readiness will be responsible for assigned aspects of engineering, procurement and construction delivery within the assigned scope of the program including but not limited to:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, and his team involved in the development of detailed Retube schedules with support from project control groups.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders from a readiness perspective. Ensure effective communication and coordination to keep all parties informed and aligned with project goals.
• Accountable for all aspects of nuclear and industrial safety including adherence with corporate and customer safety programs as well as ensure adherence to safety standards and quality requirements.
• Accountable for the review of project procedures and plans and execution technical documentation.
• Ensures that all personal qualifications are in place prior to the start of each Retube series.
• Assemble and lead a multidisciplinary project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among engineers, project management and other stakeholders and integrates among all technical teams to ensure that each series procedures and personnel will be ready for execution of each Retube series.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field plus 8 years related project management experience.
• Leadership and managerial skills; analytical and organization skills; ability to supervise cross functional project personnel and field personnel.
• Tooling and retube knowledge desired.
• Experience managing direct reports within a project delivery functional support model.
• Understanding of project delivery methodology, including earned value, critical path scheduling, and inspection and test plans.
• Experience in the Nuclear field and construction projects required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills.
