The role of Project Manager, Operations reports to the Vice President, Operations and is responsible for the management and delivery of projects along with improving processing efficiencies within multiple business units.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • This is a cross-functional role that will be responsible for working with all aspects of the business at Strive
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure effective communication among team members.
  • Monitor project budgets, manage expenditures, and advocate for additional funding when necessary.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, proposals, and meeting notes.
  • Work with various parts of the organization on special projects, while being responsible for the management and delivery of the said projects
  • Development of implementation plans, ownership of execution and results achievement
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder (both internal and external) teams to analyze, design and implement multiple process improvements via projects
  • Provide project status updates, feedback and appropriate reporting on selected projects
  • Gather, Analyze and Present Data to Leadership in a clear, concise manner as required
  • Work with and manage relationships with third party vendors as needed
  • Lead meetings with external vendors and internal stakes holders such as Sales, Credit, QA, Finance, Treasury and IT
  • Others tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired, preferably in business or engineering
  • 3+ years of Residential mortgage experience (preferably credit, treasury, or servicing)
  • Prior Project Management Experience considered an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of mortgage products and terms is considered an asset
  • Capacity to work in a team environment while also managing responsibilities independently and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication skills along with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to gather, analyze, interpret and present data
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Competency in Microsoft Office; capacity to learn new technologies / systems

Employment Type

Full time with regular working hours (remote and in-person hybrid working environment).
