Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Hydraulic Project Engineer / Project Coordinator to lead water and wastewater hydraulic modeling and coordinate project teams in Ontario. The role focuses on planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects across water and wastewater assets.

You will manage complex studies, liaise with clients and regulators, mentor staff, and contribute to proposals and business development while supporting project execution from office and field settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
  • P.Eng. designation in Ontario is required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in hydraulic modeling and infrastructure planning.
  • Proven project coordination or project management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software and Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project execution, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting client relationships, and overseeing technical deliverables related to water and wastewater systems.

Our projects include water distribution and wastewater collection system studies, infrastructure planning, pump station design, transient analysis, demand forecasting, and master planning initiatives for municipalities across Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate water and wastewater hydraulic modeling projects
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and technical staff

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
  • Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ArcGIS is considered an asset
  • Valid Class G driver’s licence with access to a vehicle
