Qualifications

What You'll Do
  • Develop system engineering concepts and reports
  • Review and manage design budgets and installations
  • Prepare calculations and select equipment
  • Coordinate documentation with project team members
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy and completeness
  • Enforce company standards and quality management
  • Act as contract administrator on designated projects
  • Manage shop drawing reviews and site activities
  • Prepare change notices and respond to technical and financial queries
  • Maintain communication with project stakeholders and support accounts receivable
  • Coordinate with external consultants and vendors
  • Organize and attend meetings, deliver client presentations
Who You Are
  • Five or more years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services
  • Current P.Eng. or qualified within one year; senior C.E.T. considered
  • Knowledge of provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, NFPA standards
  • Understanding of codes, standards, and procurement methodologies
  • Strong leadership and independent work skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and experience with consultants and contractors
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Nice to Have
  • LEED certification or experience with sustainable design
