Job summary

Bevertec is seeking an experienced Project Manager with insurance domain expertise to drive complex technology and business transformation initiatives in Waterloo, Ontario. This hybrid role requires leadership across multiple workstreams and strong governance, planning, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will manage detailed integrated project plans, navigate Waterfall governance with Agile delivery, and partner with technical and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes on a 1-year

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Project Management experience, preferably within complex technology or business transformation environments.
• Must have insurance industry experience
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing detailed integrated project plans.
• Strong Waterfall project management experience.
• Experience with hybrid Waterfall and Agile delivery.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent technology and business workstreams.
• Understanding of technology implementations, systems integration, data, infrastructure and/or application delivery.
• Experience managing complex dependencies and critical paths.
• Experience with governance, RAID management, change control and executive reporting.
• Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills.
• Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Job Role: Project Manager (Insurance exp)

Location : Waterloo, ON /Hybrid

Position Type: 1-year perm - Contract Role

Ideal Candidate Rate: $115k base or $70/hr incorp

Candidate must have to work in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.

Must Have:

• 8+ years of progressive Project Management experience, preferably within complex technology or business transformation environments.
• Must have insurance industry experience
• Demonstrated experience personally developing and managing detailed integrated project plans.
• Strong traditional Waterfall project management experience.
• Experience working in hybrid environments combining Waterfall governance with Agile/iterative sprint delivery.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent technology and business workstreams.
• Strong understanding of technology implementations, systems integration, data, infrastructure and/or application delivery.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex dependencies and critical paths.
• Strong experience with project governance, RAID management, change control and executive reporting.
• Exceptional organizational, planning and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
