Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a driven project coordinator with 2-4 years of experience to drive technology and operations initiatives in insurance. You will collaborate with technical and business teams, manage budgets and timelines, and lead software delivery while ensuring robust testing and UAT readiness.

You will liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams, provide Scrum leadership, and support governance and risk controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 2-4 years of experience in PM/operations roles.
• Experience delivering tech and business solutions in a large-scale environment.
• Strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence; Python a plus.
• Ability to assess risk and apply management principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee application of project management methodology through all project phases.

Discover an exciting opportunity in the insurance sector for our client, where you will contribute to the delivery of technology and operational initiatives while collaborating with technical and business teams in a dynamic environment. This role combines project coordination, operational support, and stakeholder engagement to help drive successful outcomes across key initiatives.

What is in it for you:

• Salaried: $50-55 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $59-64 per hour.
• 6-month contract with the potential for extension.
• Hybrid work model: 3 days per week in office.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the application of project management methodology throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope.
• Manage project resources, including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching, and advising team members.
• Partner with functional project teams to define business requirements.
• Lead development teams in delivering software solutions that meet business needs.
• Define test plans and ensure products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing.
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, including rollout plans and procedures.
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are utilized.
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
• Support both online and batch operations of Production and User Acceptance Testing environments.
• Provide Scrum leadership, resource management, and budget oversight.
• Coordinate and align technical teams to support task delivery and project objectives.
• Understand business requirements and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Bridge communication between technical and operational teams.
• Support governance and operational processes, including risk assessments, audit documentation, recovery planning, and operational controls.
• Take ownership of issues, drive them to resolution, and engage appropriate stakeholders when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2 -4 years of experience.
• Understanding of project management.
• Understanding of operations management.
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
• Strong proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and AI.
• Technical skills in Jira and Python.
• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications, products, and business functions.
