Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ICI construction projects, particularly institutional and federal projects, with contract values of up to $50 million.
  • Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes in the ICI sector, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on demand and deadlines, while successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Proven time management abilities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, a Federal Government Security Clearance (Reliability Status or Secret Clearance) is preferred.

Job Description

As a Project Manager - Institutional/Federal Construction Projects your responsibilities will include:



  • Oversee all phases of $10 million federal construction projects in the Ottawa area, from initial planning through to final delivery.

  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure alignment with project goals.
