Job summary

BBA Consultants is seeking an experienced project manager to lead mid-sized mechanical projects in the heavy‑industry and energy sectors. You will coordinate with stakeholders to deliver multidisciplinary engineering and contribute to winning proposals.

You’ll identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and oversee budgets, schedules, and safety. Strong English and French communication are essential for collaboration across offices and clients.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and licensing (Québec)
• About 12 years of relevant experience in the field
• Experience leading mechanical projects in the industrial sector
• Available for short-term work assignments outside the office
• Relevant experience in project management and technical report writing
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec

Your future role on our team

As a member of our industrial mechanics team, you’ll lead mid-sized projects for studies and detailed engineering mandates in the heavy-industry and energy sectors.

Your role as project manager will be to coordinate with the various project stakeholders to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering for a range of industrial applications. You’ll work with a dynamic team and be encouraged to share your technical and project-management knowledge.

You’ll also play an active role in identifying business opportunities with our clients and help draft winning proposals. You’ll help develop the firm by maintaining business relationships with internal and external clients.
