Job summary

BBA Consultants is seeking a designer based in Jonquière to contribute to hydroelectric, mining and industrial projects. You will design systems and equipment in 3D, work with point clouds, and create layout drawings while ensuring high technical quality.

The role requires 3D design experience, a mechanical engineering technology diploma, and strong English/French language skills to collaborate with offices and clients across Canada. Short client-site assignments may be involved.

Qualifications

• College diploma in mechanical engineering technology is required.
• Experience with 3D design is required.
• Available for short assignments at client sites.
• Advanced English skills to collaborate with other BBA offices and clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally.
• Advanced French skills to collaborate with others in Québec.
• Experience in heavy industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, Revit, SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, Ansys and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Multidisciplinary knowledge (electricity and automation) is a plus.
