IT Program Vision: To be a national healthcare reference centre for best practice information technology solutions that enable patients and families, clinical professionals, academics, and research partners to improve the patient care experience.
In this position, you will report to Christina Kwan, Program Manager, Clinical & Business Systems, and will join an exceptional, hardworking team. This portfolio includes leading the IT components for major systems and medical device procurements, implementations, and integrations. It’s a state-of-the-art portfolio and an opportunity to work alongside clinical, technical, and equipment experts. The overall IT Program is led by an Executive Director and strong Program Directors who lead with vision, team values, and extensive hospital redevelopment expertise.
What You Bring:

Education: A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree, supplemented by formal training in project management or relevant discipline, plus 7-10 years of recent, related experience in implementing technology systems from business cases to specifications and large/capacity projects, including healthcare environment experience and project management skills. PMP designation or in progress is an asset.
Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of technology systems capital project planning, design, construction, and procurement; project management principles; patient care delivery systems; ability to interpret construction drawings; leadership skills; supervision and team management; organizational and communication skills; business acumen; and physical ability to perform duties.
Your Day to Day: Manage planning and implementation of technology projects, establish team structure, ensure communication, monitor project progress, lead business plan development, collaborate with operational partners, review designs, manage contracts, and maintain relationships to ensure project success and adherence to standards and budgets.
