Job summary

MHB Group in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex new-build ICI projects across the GTA, with a strong emphasis on institutional and healthcare environments. You will coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, oversee schedules, budgets, contracts, and RFIs, and drive delivery from pre-construction through turnover.

A growing construction management firm with a strong pipeline of new-build ICI projects across the GTA is expanding its project team.

With exciting projects on the horizon and a particularly strong focus on institutional and healthcare construction, this is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of complex builds and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects from pre-construction through completion.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you’ll be at the centre of the project—bringing together clients, consultants, contractors, trades, suppliers, and internal teams to keep projects moving forward.

You’ll take the lead across schedules, budgets, contracts, coordination, and overall project performance, working closely with the Site Superintendent and field team from early planning through turnover.

The project portfolio includes complex institutional environments, including hospitals and healthcare facilities, along with commercial and other ICI projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading new-build ICI projects from pre-construction through completion
• Managing complex projects, with a strong focus on institutional and healthcare environments
• Managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, forecasts, and reporting
• Coordinating clients, consultants, contractors, trades, suppliers, and internal teams
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes, and documentation to identify issues and opportunities early
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, site instructions, and project documentation
• Monitoring costs, progress, quality, and schedule performance
• Identifying project risks and proactively resolving issues before they impact delivery
• Working closely with the Site Superintendent and field team to coordinate construction activities and maintain momentum
• Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Providing leadership, direction, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
