TalentSphere Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead ICI construction projects in Barrie, Ontario.

You will oversee preconstruction through turnover, coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to deliver on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction project management experience with general contractors and a strong understanding of drawings, specs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from award through closeout.

• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and change orders.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts and overall financial performance.
• Prepare and review progress billings and subcontractor payments.

• Coordinate project procurement and subcontractor awards.
• Identify and resolve project risks, scheduling issues and cost concerns.
• Work closely with site supervision to support project execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.

About The Opportunity

An established Ontario general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Barrie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ICI construction projects from preconstruction and planning through execution, closeout and turnover. This position will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, site teams and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and contracts
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Technology or related education is considered an asset
• Must be able to work full-time from the Barrie office

Compensation

$120,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a competitive overall compensation package.
