Reliance Impact is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major institutional, commercial and industrial construction projects in the Toronto area. You will oversee planning, execution, financial management, risk mitigation and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior PM or Project Manager on large-scale ICI construction projects.
• Strong track record managing ground-up projects valued at $100M+.
• Background in institutional, commercial, or industrial construction is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of large ICI ground-up projects valued between $100M and $300M.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, procurement and overall financial performance.
• Oversee project teams including PMs, coordinators, superintendents, consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, clients, consultants, trades and internal stakeholders.
• Lead planning, scheduling, risk management and execution strategies.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts and project documentation.
• Monitor progress to ensure milestones, deliverables and quality standards are met.
• Oversee tendering, procurement, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration.
• Identify risks and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure health and safety standards, codes and policies are followed.
• Lead meetings and provide reporting to senior leadership.
• Support closeout, deficiency management and client handover.

Reliance Impact is partnering with a leading general contractor that is looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to their ICI construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level construction professional with strong experience managing large-scale ground-up ICI projects valued between $100 million and $300 million. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects from preconstruction through to completion, while managing budgets, schedules, client relationships, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

About the Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of major institutional, commercial, and industrial construction projects. You will play a key leadership role in planning, execution, financial management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.

This role requires a proven project leader who can manage large teams, navigate complex project challenges, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager on large-scale ICI construction projects
• Strong experience managing ground-up construction projects valued at $100M+
• Background in institutional, commercial, or industrial construction is required
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, procurement, and project controls
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large project teams and multiple stakeholders
• Experience working with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and senior leadership
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage complex project challenges in a fast-paced construction environment
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is considered an asset
• Gold Seal, PMP, P.Eng., or similar designation is considered an asset

• Salary: $175,000–$190,000, based on experience
