Job summary

Schneider Electric Milton is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate, manage project timelines, and track deliverables using appropriate tools. You will be the single point of contact for internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders.

The role requires 3+ years in project management, ability to read diagrams, strong communication, and travel up to 10% regionally. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive Total Rewards package including health

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in project management experience, preferably in electrical industry
  • Must be able to read and interpret single-line diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, communication and facilitation skills
  • Able to travel up to 10% regionally
  • Independent with general instructions; effective organization and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Be the single point of contact for all internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders
  • Review purchase orders and quotations with Sales reps to ensure clean order entry
  • Convert orders based on PO requirements
  • Compile and issue approval and record drawings packages
  • Keep track of drawing schedules to ensure a timely release to manufacturing
  • Diligently manage the change order process
  • Communicate order status to relevant parties
  • Ensure customer deliverables meet Schneider Electric terms and conditions
  • Complete post-shipment tasks such as warranty claims and product returns
  • Maintain order files with all pertinent information
  • Initiate and facilitate team and client meetings as needed
  • Follow up with distributors to resolve claims and debit memos

Job description

Schneider Electric Sales Operation Team has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to assume the role of Project Manager in our Milton location.

The Project Manager will coordinate, manage project timelines, and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.

What will you do?
  • Be the single point of contact for all internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of multiple orders.
  • Review purchase orders and quotations with Sales reps to ensure clean order entry.
  • Convert orders based on PO requirements.
  • Compile and issue approval and record drawings packages.
  • Keep track of drawing schedules to ensure a timely release to manufacturing.

  • Continually monitor and effectively communicate order status to relevant parties.

  • 3+ years in project management experience preferably in the electrical industry;
  • CET or equivalent Electrical education/experience (asset);
  • Must be able to read and interpret single-line diagrams;
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively and has strong decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • General instructions will be provided but is expected to perform tasks independently.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% regionally.

The expected pay range is CAD 64,000 - CAD 96,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
