Job Title: Project Manager - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Location: Calgary, AB
Employment Type: Contract (12 months) - with extension possibility
Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00/Annum
Start Date: Immediately
Position Overview: Reporting to the Controller, the ERP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of ERP implementation projects. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the system meets organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful ERP implementation.
- Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design ERP solutions that align with organizational goals, while contributing to re-design of key processes to gain efficiencies.
- Implementation: Lead the implementation phase, coordinating with a cross-functional project team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the ERP system.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users, to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Training and Support: Oversee methodical training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the ERP system.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the ERP system post-implementation, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Qualifications And Skills

- 10+ years of experience delivering complex, enterprise-wide ERP implementations, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience as an ERP Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and their implementation processes.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
