  • 2 or more years' experience related to a Construction Coordinator or Project Manager.
  • Previous landscape construction site experience is required.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Project Manager (PM), you will be working with the operations manager to assist in leading all aspects of the construction process by coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure the project stays on schedule and is completed within budget.

Salary Range: $80,000-110,000/year.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and collaborating project plans with the client and site teams
  • RFI’s
  • Review site instructions field instructions and other requests for scope changes and act accordingly. Change order creation, receiving approvals and ensuring the site team is made aware of the approved changes.
  • Accurately invoicing for work completed
  • Reviewing work for correctness and quality
  • Reviewing plans and site to ensure
  • Process and send RFQ’s
  • Create and submit show drawings, and follow up for approvals
  • Creating project information including specific scope of work for trades
  • Create, maintain and manage project schedules
  • Participate in weekly company scheduling meetings
  • Attend and participate in meetings as requested
  • Managing permit applications, tenders and awarding subcontracts
  • Overseeing the site team and upholding production goals
  • Collaborating with CSO to implement and ensure adherence to a site safety plan with Site Super(s)
  • Hosting pre-construction meetings prior to each project
  • Creating and managing budgets in collaboration with the estimator, operations manager, site Super and foreman
  • Working with Site Super(s) and foremen on site details and challenges
  • Reviewing schedules with Site Super(s) to complete each building
  • Be available to assist sales by collaborating with the sales and estimating team
  • Any other duties as required
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Be highly adaptable and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle pressure and changing priorities and goals
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • Effective organizational and time management skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Education in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field is considered an asset
  • Previous landscape construction site experience is required
  • 2 or more years' experience related to a Construction Coordinator or Project Manager
  • Ability to travel to various job sites within Chilliwack
  • Capable of reading blueprints
