Job description

1: Must have a minimum of 10 years of recent (last 15 years) professional experience in management of Information Technology projects related to Oracle CC&B (Utilities Customer Service and Billing).

CONTRACT DURATION

The contract will be effective for an initial term commencing on the date of award and ending on March 31, 2025. It will automatically renew for successive one-year terms, up to a maximum of three renewals.

Background

SaskEnergy Digital, Technology and Security (DT&S) comprises several functional groups focused on project delivery, enterprise architecture, information management, application, and infrastructure management. The department consists of approximately 72 multi-vendor contractors and 106 employees.

The Business Applications team collaborates with IT Operations, Enterprise Security, Solutions and Architecture, and Project Delivery. Our project management approach combines PMBoK and RUP methodologies, with exploration into Agile practices. The team includes approximately 35 SaskEnergy staff and contractors supporting support, maintenance, and patching within SaskEnergy’s DT&S.

• Requirements

SaskEnergy seeks an experienced senior project manager (PM) to lead a portfolio of projects within Business Applications for a one-year term. The PM will ensure projects follow Business Applications standards and PMI best practices, reporting functionally to the Manager, Business Applications. The PM is required on-site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina.

• Resource management, including internal staff and external vendors
• Overall project plan management
• Cost and forecast management
