Job description

Taiko Labs is building the Taiko ZK-EVM: a layer-2 blockchain that scales Ethereum in a manner that emulates Ethereum as closely as possible - both technically and non-technically. Taiko ZK-EVM is an Ethereum-equivalent ZK-Rollup, scaling Ethereum by supporting all EVM opcodes in a layer-2 architecture that is decentralized, permissionless, and secure.

We are strong believers in zero-knowledge proofs. Our team consists of people that have been using ZKPs since 2018 and have built the first ZK-Rollup on Ethereum. We are looking to expand our team with more talented and determined individuals that share our goals.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team and lead the expansion and integration of builders and partners into the Taiko ecosystem. You will work with Ethereum applications, infrastructure providers, and builders of all sorts to help them reach their goals, and help Taiko grow a thriving ecosystem. Rollups have come a long way in extending Ethereum—this role can be crucial in bringing the technology to the sweet spot of fabled mass-adoption.

About the role

  • Design, implement, and execute processes to attract and service ecosystem partners (application developers, infrastructure providers, related products)
  • Coordinate with existing ecosystem partners on product updates and ensure any technical issues are resolved
  • Lead strategies to differentiate and expand the reach of Taiko and Ethereum
  • Manage new business and partnership enquiries
  • Use data and feedback you have gathered to inform internal priorities and align all necessary teams thereon
About you
  • Experience in a business development role within the Ethereum/crypto industry
  • Understanding of Ethereum and the Layer 2/rollup landscape
  • Ability and desire to write and speak publicly to a technical and non-technical audience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and a love for helping achieve optimal outcomes for partners
  • Highly curious, highly organized, and always learning
  • A deep sense of ownership in your work, capable of seeing a complex project through from start to finish
