We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager (HRM) / Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who will champion and foster a positive and inclusive culture. The HRM embodies the values of the organization by providing expert HR knowledge to achieve operational excellence and efficiency in relation to the people aspects of Xpera.

Reporting to the Director HR you will help to align Xperas people strategy with its business strategy. You will coach and partner with leaders to identify and understand people issues relevant to the business. You have a strong generalist background a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to build strong partnerships with a diverse workforce across the business while upholding Xperas core values and organizational standards. This role is designed for someone with a people and culture focus that enjoys a fast-paced (seriously fast-paced) environment and is keen to be part of growing a great business. This is a fully remote position with priority given to candidates in the EST / CST time zones.

What You Will Do :

  • Act as a trusted business partner to align HR focus with business strategy and priorities by developing a deep knowledge and understanding of their business drivers challenges and needs.
  • Guide and advise the business on implementing HR policies practices and processes.
  • Support business teams to execute people programs such as performance management succession planning and compensation.
  • Participate in the development communication and ongoing management of HR programs in talent management employee engagement talent & leadership development and employee relations.
  • Provide leadership coaching and development opportunities to empower leaders to enhance their skills and drive organizational success.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and conduct investigations in a fair and timely manner as needed in a practical expedient and discreet manner.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws company policies and practices and safety standards.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas of improvement and develop proactive solutions.
  • Be a change agent by identifying gaps in individual team and leadership performance.
  • Promote educate and support our Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.

What You Will Bring :

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience preferably in a service-focused environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret legislation and employment law.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels using a collaborative and team focused approach.
  • Enthusiasm for your work creative problem-solving skills and be a role model of organizational values and time management skills.
  • Ability to engage in challenging conversations with clarity and conviction.
  • Exceptional communication skills. You are a skilled listener fact finder communicator presenter.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment business acumen and practical experience to guide recommendations.
  • Experience with an integrated HCM system.
  • Bilingual (English / French) is considered an asset.
  • CPHR designation (or significant progress towards completion) is considered an asset.
